The special issue on the work of the Swedish architect Bernt Nyberg documents a key exponent of the Swedish "poets of matter", a term that better suits the architects of the School of Lund − Lewerentz, Edman, Anshelm and Nyberg − than the one which Hans Asplund coined in the 1950s: brutalists.
This special issue on the work of one of the members of the School of Lund − Bernt Nyberg − was edited by Matthew Hall and includes an essay by Wilfried Wang entitled "Poets of Matter: Bernt Nyberg and Mid-20th Century Architecture".
